Guggenheim Abu Dhabi Career Fair merch
Project type
Graphic Design
Date
February 2026
Location
Abu Dhabi
As part of my work with the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi team, I developed a merchandise concept for the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi Career Fair that focused on participation, personalization, and tactile design. I proposed and pitched the idea of an interactive merchandise system where visitors could customize their own tote bags using a set of colorful branded badges. The badges featured variations of the Guggenheim “G” identity in different color combinations, allowing attendees to assemble their own visual composition and create a personalized keepsake from the event.
I also designed a series of minimalist notebooks produced with hand stitched binding. The notebooks emphasized materiality and craft, combining simple covers with subtle Guggenheim branding to create a refined yet approachable object.
This project explored how event merchandise can move beyond passive giveaways to become participatory design objects. It was giving a chance for visitor to assemble and customize their own items, the merchandise became both a functional tool and a small design experience that reflected the creative spirit of the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi.
