This project is a set of illustrated sticker sheets created for Eid Al Etihad in collaboration with @Uaemajlis. The work celebrates the UAE through everyday memories rather than official symbols, focusing on the small, familiar moments that many of us grew up with and continue to recognize today.
The visuals draw from childhood snacks, toys, and shared social scenes such as Chips Oman packaging, matchstick games, spinning toys, pearl diving, dhow sailing, and moments of collective play. These elements are treated as visual memories, presented in a graphic, stamp like format that frames them as cultural keepsakes.
The project uses bold colours, flat illustration, and references to commercial packaging and children’s visual culture. By turning these memories into stickers, the work invites interaction and play, allowing people to collect, share, and place these fragments of nostalgia into their own spaces.
At its core, this project reflects my ongoing interest in everyday design, popular culture, and how national identity is shaped through repetition, objects, and shared experiences. For me, Eid Al Etihad becomes a moment to celebrate not only the nation, but the collective memories that quietly connect us.
